Camp Donations

Please be aware that Nipple Crime is strongly against Plug-N-Play. We are not providing you with food, water, shelter, transportation, hauling your stuff or setting up your personal camping gear. No one makes a penny. Camping with this group is a collaborative effort where we all put our money together in order to gift our incredible camp to the citizens of Black Rock City.

Camp donations are the same for every member and mandatory for everyone. Camp membership and generator spots are limited.  Generators spots on the camp power grid are required if you want power - small personal generators are not allowed this year due to sound and exhaust issues in camp. You can bring them as backup only. Expense reports are made available to the members.

Generator Spot

$400 Per Trailer

  • 15A connection to our 24 hour grid
  • Trailer spots are for trailers with AC, microwave, fridge, electric bikes 
  • Tent/Yurt spot is for small AC and power for lights,  bikes
  • Required to turn off AC when not in tent or trailer

Reimbursement and Donation Structure

  • Camp Donation

    • Camp Donations can be payed in full or in payments in the links below. 
    • Camp donations are $550 per person until March 31st at midnight when they will automatically increase to $600.
    • Camp donations will increase from $600 to $650 on July 1st, then to $900 on August 16th.
    • If you enter your payment plan prior to the deadlines on March 31st/June 30th, you will be locked in at that price point. 
    • Generator spots are lump sum only and fill up fast.
  • Reimbursement plan if choose to withdraw your donation
    • We will Reimburse your entire camp donation minus processing fees from a third party processor until May 15th
    • We will Reimburse half of your camp donation minus processing fees from a third party processor between April 30th and August 1st. 
    •  There will be no reimbursements after August 2nd. The money is gone at this point and spent. 

Donate Directly From Bank Account

This is the preferred method of payment and will come directly from your bank account. You will not have to pay a fee with this link but Nipple Crime will pay 0.5% processing.

As an independent burning man camp and 501(c)(3) non-profit, Nipple crime relies on camp dues, fundraising events, and donations from our community to produce all the incredible experiences on the playa and off. Our interactive events, camp infrastructure, art cars, and food and beverage costs are enormous and it wouldn’t be possible without you.
